Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Remote Robotics Engineering Intern to join our autonomous systems team. This internship is designed for students who want to gain practical learning experience in robotics, autonomous systems, and real-world product development while using English. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in robotics, ROS, embedded systems, control algorithms, and autonomous navigation. You will work closely with experienced engineers online to learn, contribute to, and support the development of autonomous delivery robots. This role is suitable for students who are eager to apply their academic knowledge to practical robotics challenges while developing technical skills in a startup environment.
Remote Robotics Engineering Intern
Responsibilities
- Learn and support robotics software development. Assist with ROS/ROS2-based robotics development, simulation, testing, and debugging under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Contribute to autonomous robot features. Support the development of basic modules related to navigation, control, perception, sensor integration, or robot behavior.
- Document and present learning progress. Prepare clear technical notes, experiment results, and progress updates to demonstrate learning, challenges, and completed tasks during the internship.
Requirements
- Basic interest or experience in robotics/software development. Familiarity with Python, C++, ROS/ROS2, embedded systems, control systems, simulation, or autonomous systems is a plus.
- English communication ability is required. Must be able to communicate, write updates, ask questions, and participate in technical discussions in English.
- Strong willingness to learn. Open to feedback, eager to learn new technologies, and able to work on assigned tasks with guidance.
- Ability to work remotely. Comfortable working online, joining remote meetings, managing tasks, and providing regular progress updates.
- Basic technical documentation skills. Able to write simple technical notes, summarize progress, and document experiments or implementation results clearly.
