Should One Indoor Robot Perform Every Task?

New indoor robot platforms are increasingly combining delivery with cleaning, advertising and visitor guidance. The attraction is understandable: a multipurpose robot could remain productive during periods when delivery demand is low and potentially serve several facility departments.

However, every additional function introduces scheduling conflicts, maintenance requirements and new validation responsibilities. Cleaning and parcel delivery may also create hygiene or contamination concerns. A robot capable of many tasks is not automatically commercially stronger if it performs none of them exceptionally well.
